Basil Guacamole

Prepared in less than 30 minutes, basil gives this crunchy Mexican-inspired dip a fresh, balanced flavor.

2 ripe, mediumavocados, halved, seeded, and peeledsee savings

3/4 cupsnipped fresh basilsee savings

1/2 cupchopped seeded tomatosee savings

1 tablespoonfresh lime juicesee savings

1/4 to 1/2 teaspoonsaltsee savings

1/4 teaspooncrushed red pepper or few drops bottled hot pepper saucesee savings

Tortilla chipssee savings
Directions
1.
In a bowl mash avocado with a fork Stir in basil, tomato, green onion, lime juice, salt, and red pepper. Serve immediately with tortilla chips. Makes about 2 cups.
