Barbecue Glaze
  • 1/2  cup
    prepared barbecue sauce

  • 1/2  cup
    balsamic vinegar

  • 2  tablespoons
    firmly packed light brown sugar

  • 2  teaspoons
    minced roasted garlic

    Worcestershire sauce

    liquid smoke

Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously coat a large baking dish with pan spray; set aside.
2.
Slice ham into 6 (2-inch-wide) strips; set aside.
3.
Divide beans into 6 bundles. Wrap a ham strip around a bundle of beans. Tie with a chive. Repeat for remaining bundles.
4.
Using a pastry brush, coat bundles with Barbecue Glaze, reserving some for serving. Place bean bundles into prepared baking dish.
5.
Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes. Serve with remaining sauce, if desired.

Barbecue Glaze
In a small bowl, combine barbecue sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, Worcestershire, liquid smoke, salt, and pepper, whisking to blend. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
