Apple-Cranberry Chutney
  • 6    pink lady apples, halved and coredOn Sale

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Put ham, fat side up, in a roasting pan and score fat. Rub with oil and season all over with plenty of salt and pepper. Cover loosely with foil and roast for 2 hours. Remove foil and roast, uncovered, about 1 more hour more, until an instant-read thermometer registers 155 degrees F. Let the ham stand for 15 minutes before slicing.

While the ham is baking, combine the Apple-Cranberry Chutney ingredients in a large saucepan. Simmer for 25 minutes, until apples are almost falling apart and the sauce is fragrant. Remove cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and ginger; discard. Place apple mixture in a food processor; process until thick and smooth. Serve with baked ham.
