Bacon and Cheese Grits

Ingredients
1-1/2 cups uncooked grits
3 cups grated Cheddar cheese
3 large eggs, beaten
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper, or to taste
5 slices slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, divided
1/3 cup milk
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Cook grits according to package directions. Remove from heat.
3. Add 2 cups cheese, eggs, milk, red pepper, and 3 slices crumbled bacon; stir well.
4. Pour into a buttered 3-quart baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and crumbled bacon. Bake for 20 minutes.
