Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked grits
  • 3 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper, or to taste
  • 5 slices slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, divided
  • 1/3 cup milk

Directions
1. 
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cook grits according to package directions. Remove from heat.
3. 
Add 2 cups cheese, eggs, milk, red pepper, and 3 slices crumbled bacon; stir well.
4. 
Pour into a buttered 3-quart baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and crumbled bacon. Bake for 20 minutes.
