Bacon and Cheese Grits

see savings3 cupsgrated Cheddar cheese
see savings3large eggs, beaten
see savings1/4 teaspoonground red pepper, or to taste
see savings5 slicesslices bacon, cooked and crumbled, divided

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook grits according to package directions. Remove from heat.
Pour into a buttered 3-quart baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and crumbled bacon. Bake for 20 minutes.
