Backwards Birthday Cake

Bake and frost the chocolate chip cake, then spell your message backwards on this dessert. The kids will have fun trying to read it.

Ingredients
1 box (18.25 ounces)  yellow cake mix
1 cup  chocolate chips
1 can (16 ounces)  vanilla frosting
1 tube (4.25 ounces)  yellow decorating icing, fitted with a star tip
1/3 cup  colored sprinkles
  Candy letter decorations

Directions
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare batter and divide in two 8-inch round cake pans. Sprinkle batter with chocolate chips. Bake according to package directions. Transfer to wire rack and cool 10 minutes; invert and cool completely.
2. Level cakes. Fill and frost cake layers with vanilla frosting. Make a decorative border around rim with yellow frosting. Press colored sprinkles onto sides of cake. Place letter decorations backwards on top of cake.

Lighten up people! This would be a fun idea to incorporate into a Backwards Birthday Party.....the kids could wear clothes backwards...the entire order of the party could be backwards, with the presents and cake being done first off, etc. They could even learn to sing "Happy Birthday" backwards!
