Asian Peanut Sauce

This sauce is so versatile! It can be used as a dip for vegetables or as a sauce on noodles, vegetables or poultry.

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine or cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar In The Raw®
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup minced green onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Hot sauce, to taste
  • 1/4- 1/2 cup warm water
In a medium bowl combine soy sauce, vinegar, Sugar In The Raw and salt. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add peanut butter, green onion and garlic, stirring until well combined. Mix in hot sauce to taste. Thin sauce to desired consistency with warm water.
This sauce can be made in a food processor or blender.
Serve as a dip for fresh vegetables; use to stuff hollowed out cherry tomatoes; or serve as a sauce for baked tofu, cold sesame noodles, green beans, cauliflower or chicken skewers.
