Ingredients
  • 1/3  cup
    apricot jam

  • medium pears, halved, peeled, and cored

  • 1/4  cup
    orange juice

Directions
1.
In a 2-quart rectangular baking dish stir together jam and orange juice. Place pears in dish, cut side down; spoon sauce over top. Bake, covered, in a 350 degree F. oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until tender.

Serve warm in individual dessert dishes. Spoon sauce over pears. If desired, top with whipped cream and nutmeg. Makes 4 servings.

Microwave Directions
Prepare as above except assemble in a microwave-safe square baking dish. Microwave, covered, on 100% power (high) for 6 to 9 minutes or until pears are tender, rearragning pears once. Serve as above.
