Applesauce Muffins

Applesauce keeps these fat-free muffins moist and tender. They're good for breakfast or brunch -- especially with a cup of tea or hot cider.

    cinnamon

  • 2 cups
    All-Bran® Original

  • 1 1/2 cups
    unsweetened applesauce

  • 1/4 cup
    fat-free milk

    raisins

Directions
1.
Stir together flours, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.

In large mixing bowl, combine Kellogg's® All-Bran® cereal, applesauce and milk. Let stand about 5 minutes or until cereal softens. Add egg whites. Beat well. Add raisins and flour mixture, stirring only until combined. Portion evenly into twelve 2 1/2-inch muffin-pan cups coated with cooking spray.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
