  • 6  cups  apple juice or apple ciderOn Sale
  • 4  cups  cranberry juiceOn Sale
  • 1/4  cup  brown sugarOn Sale
  • 3    cinnamon sticksOn Sale
  • 1  teaspoon  whole clovesOn Sale
  •     Cheesecloth and string for spice bagOn Sale
  •     Garnish: additional cinnamon sticksOn Sale

Directions
1.
In a large saucepan, combine apple juice or cider, cranberry juice, and brown sugar.
2.
Place cinnamon sticks and cloves in a piece of cheesecloth. Tie cheesecloth closed, using string.
3.
Place spice bag in juice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove spice bag prior to serving. Serve warm. If desired, garnish with additional cinnamon sticks.
4.
*Recipe can be doubled and heated in a 24-cup electric coffeepot. Place brown sugar and spices in basket of coffeepot.
