Directions

Add the first 10 ingredients to the bread machine pan according to the manufacturer's directions for a 1-1/2-pound loaf. Select the basic white bread cycle. If available, try a light-crust color setting.

To make tea breads, use a small cookie cutter or canape cutter to cut shapes from a slice of bread. Spread bread shapes with softened cream cheese and top with your choice of preserves, nuts, or fresh fruit. Makes 20 servings.

Note
For this 1-1/2-pound loaf, the bread machine pan must have a capacity of 10 cups or more.
